Hi, Vince, I stopped by the office of Pennant Energy about a month ago and noticed they shared an office suite with other well known juniors such as Western Potash (WPX) and Amarillo Gold (AGC). Patrick Power, Vice President, Secretary and Director of Pennant Energy is also a director for Western Potash and Amarillo Gold. There is considerable talent in all three companies, and I think this ensures that Pennant Energy has promising future.
Vince, I am sorry I won't be able to meet up with you and other investors in Toronto. It would be great if you could come to the Vancouver Resource Investment conference one day to meet up with investors here. Anyways, have a great time at the show and please keep up the great work.
Great picks, Vince, you have given me a lot to think about. As far as I know Golden Predator's Yukon properties are unique in that they are road accessible. They can cost effectively explore year round without having to use expensive helicopter support. Golden Predator CEO, William Sheriff is also CEO of Silver Predator (SPD), and Tigris Uranium (TU). SPD has properties in the Yukon and Nevada. Tigris Uranium has exploration projects in New Mexico.
Hi Wordly Trader,
You are extremely well versed in the Canadian Juniors. Have you been in the industry for a long time? Thanks for all of the great comments.
Hi, Vince,
Thank you for the compliment. I started investing in the juniors in July of last year. I am fortunate that being in downtown Vancouver has me on the pulse of the market so to speak. I would estimate that out every five people you meet in Vancouver at least one works in the mining industry. Many of my friends and neighbors work for Canadian juniors.
I am also within walking distance of the offices of most of the juniors that are in downtown Vancouver. It is easy for me to personally research and get information on a junior company.
To your credit, you still find companies I have never heard of. I think on matter how hard you research the juniors you can't find all the up and coming companies your own. Also Vancouver has mostly junior mining companies and I miss out on the up and coming junior energy companies. Later I will email you a list of companies that I have heard that you may want to research.
