Vince, you should have said in this broadcast this one is for the ladies! You definitely have my attention on Constantine Metals (CEM). I will do my DD on it.
LOL....From what I can tell by going to conferences and posting on the boards, this sector is 99% men and 1% women so I'm guessinbg there are none out there watching. If so, give me a shout-out. We are the 99% LOL.
It could be possible that we will see Venture Capital (VC) funds that will bypass the Venture Exchange and other stock markets and privately fund exploration and mining companies. They might fund a company until it IPOs on the Venture Exchange or some other stock market.
The only logical reason for a junior resource company to list on the venture or main exchanges is to raise capital but unfortunately the market has dumped the shares of many of these companies. I could easily see a cash strapped junior company going to a private fund to raise money for their exploration programs. If that happens in a big way the IPOs of most junior resources companies will start at much higher share prices than in the last five years.
I remember seeing this in the Dotcom era when VC funds picked up cheap seed shares in a company well before the company did its IPO. Even though the Dotcom stocks were volatile it was very hard to find small cap companies with low PE ratios. At the height of the Dotcom craze small unproven companies had PE ratios of 100-300.
In a recent interview for BNN TV, James West, of the Midas Letter, mentions an Opportunity Fund that is raising a Billion dollars for a resource capitalization fund that will lend money to resource companies in exchange for a portion of their off-take. This is also a strictly institutional fund. The full interview is at here on the BNN website and for the Marke Call show on October 25, 2011, part one:

You look so mysterious blacked out in your Sunday [Friday] videos. Maybe use a sheet of metal to reflect the sun onto you like they do in the movies!
That OCP CEM disconnection in their stock prices you mention is exactly the same thing that happened in....yep. you guessed it...REE and that British company Solo Oil which rocketed up like crazy while REE just stayed rooted to the ground at a dime or so like it had no connection whatsoever with the reason for Solo's move.
HAPPY HALLOWE'EN
Thanks for the comments. I think I only have one more good week of Sunday weather so I'll hold off on the lighting changes until next year. Yes....good example on REE and SOLO. I agree. Soemtime it doesn't make any sense when 2 companies share the same property yet one is valued much higher than the other.
On funding, China has set up 35 QDII's which are funds authorized to invest in foreign companies for Chinese investment purposes. Canada is one of ten countries where they can invest in. I'm trying to set up contacts with them to guide them into the junior sector.
Yea China! watta world eh? a communist dictatorship saves the world!
Reagan must be rolling over in his grave
You have to go where the money is and where the need for resources is greatest. That.....is China.
